OK, not everyones choice of charity, but one close to my heart, Cornwall and South Devon Boxer Rescue. Boxers are not like any other dog. Like many other breeds, they are soppy, dopey and loving. However, they suffer severely to poor treatment.

Because boxers mentally seldom grow out of the puppy stage. They are, for want of a better word, a bit stupid. This is why many of us love them so much. This is also why they love us so much, making excessively needy dogs.

The two you see to the left are Elmo (white) and Emmy (brindle). These are our forth boxers in a life of boxer care, having not been boxer-less in 30 years.
Elmo was kept in a cage outdoors and was very scared to leave his 4ft by 4 ft prison. Emmy was treated so badly, stress made most of her hair fall out.

Because they are clumsy, boisterous, destroy stuff like a tornado, slobber like a heavy rain shower and never grow out of this stage. People grow tired of the demands and effort required. Thankfully there are people like John of Cornwall & South Devon Boxer Rescue, who take in, feed, re-home, pay vet bills etc. You get the picture.

Emmy and Elmo are a permanent addition to our family, and provide so much fun and love. We owe a debt to John for finding these lovely dogs our home as he has others. So far BJ has raised and funded:
A new Computer system, stationery, Vehicle livery, post cards and t-shirts.

Emmy & Elmo - as you can see, now a picture of health. In a home full of Love... wrecked by them!
Bless em.
